College Executive Committee Member Elections to Academic Board
Report of the Returning Officer on the election of two members of Academic Board by Members of the College Executive Committees of the University 2024
The 2024 election of four members of Academic Board by members of the ANU College Executive Committees was held in accordance with the Academic Board Protocol 2021.
Six candidates were nominated for election to Academic Board. All candidates and their nominators were checked against the college executive staff member roll comprising of eligible members who held their appointment on payday 14 March 2024 and were paid a salary on that day. All nominations were in order.
The candidates were Associate Professor Bernard Baffour, Professor Stuart Wyithe, Dr Dana Hanna, Associate Professor Julien Barbara, Professor Antony Hosking and Professor Dirk Pattinson.
An electronic ballot was conducted using the University’s APOLLO system. By close of the Poll at 5pm on Friday 26 April 2024, 26 members of College Executive Committee’s had registered a vote.
The scrutiny of the electronic count was conducted by the Returning Officer (Ms. Emma Murrell) via Zoom teleconference at 2pm on Monday 29 April 2024. Ms Leslie McDonald from the Corporate Governance and Risk Office verified the results from the count.
Following the count of preferences, I declare the following elected for a 2-year term commencing 2 May 2024:
- Dr Dana Hanna
- Associate Professor Julien Barbara
- Professor Antony Hosking
- Professor Stuart Wyithe
