Mr Paul Hargreaves

Paul Hargreaves is the Interim Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the Australian National University (ANU), leading the university's IT operations and providing strategic direction and oversight for all technology-related services, including playing an integral role in implementing the ANU Digital Plan. He is responsible for the Information Technology Services, the Information Security Office, and the Communications and Digital Infrastructure, ensuring effective planning, coordination and delivery of these systems and services across the university.

The CIO is part of the university's leadership group and works closely with them to align technology strategies with the broader objectives of the institution, ensuring IT services contribute to enhancing the student experience, research capabilities and overall operational efficiency at ANU.

Paul brings over 20 years' experience leading IT teams in delivering system transformations, including more than 10 within the Higher Education sector. While at ANU, he has already overseen the implementation of key initiatives integral to the Digital Plan across the Student Experience and Learning and Teaching spaces.
