70th Anniversary Demography at the ANU
Presented by ANU College of Arts & Social Sciences
Reunions are a unique time to reconnect with friends, colleagues and classmates, as well as an opportunity to learn how much Demography and the ANU has progressed since your last visit. Whether you graduated or work at Demography ANU currently, 10 years ago or 50 years ago, we want you to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Demography with us.
An evening networking reception will be held at The Gallery (former aMBUSH Gallery) in Kambri Cultural Centre, on the ANU campus.
We are fortunate to have a tight-knit community, which has been and remains a hallmark of the Demography educational experience at ANU.The tradition of collegial research and excellent scholarship has made the experience of being a part of the ANU School of Demography so positive. You won't want to miss this chance to catch-up with us and we are excited to hear about your current work and achievements.
Come and check our ANU-Demography population pyramid!
During this evening we will have special recognition of our Emeriti professors and ANU fun-quiz challenges between demography cohorts. Furthermore, a careers 'speed dating' event will take place where current students and recent alumni can network and talk about jobs in and out of academia. We anticipate this being a fun and interesting opportunity for all to informally ask questions to alumni who are already further in their careers. If you are at any stage of your career and would like to pass on advice to younger demographers, please let us know via e-mail to Qing Guan (qing.guan@anu.edu.au).
