Indigenous heritage trail guided walk
Experience the rich Indigenous history of our ANU campus through this guided trail walk. Learn about the importance of Sullivan's Creek and Black Mountain, bush foods and medicines, ceremony and tradition, and how local Aboriginal people managed their land. Explore the continuing culture and connection to Country.
You will be guided on the tour by:
- Aunty Dr Matilda House (HonDoc '17), Ngambri/Wiradjuri Elder and ANU Patron
- Dave Johnston (BA Hons '90), Indigenous Archaeologist and host of Foxtel's Coast Australia, on the History Channel.
The tour will meet and finish at the Kambri Precinct Amphitheatre, and travels through a significant part of our large campus. Our thanks to the ANU Indigenous Alumni Network for organising these tours.
