The rundown - information you need at a glance
|
- The deadline to drop a Semester 2 course with failure (WN) is Wednesday 30 October. To learn more about how this could impact you and your Grade Point Average, click here.
- A reminder that parking stations on campus will be open for all Students during hailstorm warnings issued by the Bureau of Meteorology. Parking is limited and there is no guarantee of a space. Should you park there, and are not a parking station permit holder, you must move your car immediately after the storm or before 8am the following day to avoid the possibility of receiving an infringement notice. Only consider using this option if it is safe to move your car during a hailstorm.

NDIS: past, present and future

Tuesday 29 October, 5.30-7.30pm
Lisa Paul, Chancellor of the University of Canberra, co-chaired an Independant Review of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in 2022-2023. In this lecture hosted by the College of Business and Economics, Lisa will discuss the progress of the Review’s implementation and if it will be enough to fix the NDIS for the short, medium and long term.

COOL13 Conference: Call for Papers

Are you working on something cool in linguistics? Share your groundbreaking research at COOL13, the 13th Conference on Oceanic and Australian Languages. We’re seeking abstracts that bring fresh perspectives and innovative research to the table. Whether you’re diving into phonetics, syntax, semantics, or sociolinguistics, we want to hear from you. All talks will be 20 minutes long with 10 minutes for discussion. Submit your abstract to cool13in2025@gmail.com.

The Canberra Symphony Orchestra Kingsland Fellowship offers specialised professional development for advanced musicians at a tertiary and postgraduate level. Inspiring excellence and creating pathways to professional performance, the program is tailored to the unique artistic path and goals of each Fellow. Any student is eligible to apply for the Canberra Symphony Orchestra Kingsland Fellowship.
