Message from Professor Ian Anderson AO,
Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student and University Experience)

It is a great pleasure to be christening the renamed On&Off Campus with a note to introduce myself. I understand this is a rebranding of the much loved OnCampus, which has been put on hold for a few weeks while ANU transitioned to remote working and studying.

I am the new Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student and University Experience). I am responsible for the University’s policies that enhance the unique and first class learning, studying, living, and exploring – on campus and off, in these times – experience for you, our students. I wish to take this opportunity to acknowledge the great work Professor Tony Foley has done in the Interim Pro Vice-Chancellor (University Experience) role, and thank him in advance for staying in that role for the next little while to guide me through my transition period which were not quite as I expected when I accepted the Vice-Chancellor’s job offer!
