Message from Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic)

I hope you had a restful and safe Easter break. I took some time off and enjoyed spending some down time cooking and renovating an old wardrobe.

You will have seen the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor’s announcement last week that the University will make offers to year 12 students based on their year 11 results to study at ANU in 2021. They just need to complete year 12.

I am very proud of this initiative. It provides domestic students with certainty, in a period plagued by uncertainty. It alleviates some of the anxiety final year students will be experiencing due the disruption to their studies. And it’s the right thing to do. As the national university, we must show leadership and innovation to ensure our future leaders are provided with the pathway to success.
