Message from the Chancellor

During these challenging times, I know that everyone within the ANU community is working hard to ensure that we can keep our students and staff safe and healthy and engaged in educational and academic endeavours.

It has been an immensely difficult start to the year, first with the devastating bushfires in our region, then the extreme weather events that caused significant damage to our campus, and now the impact of the global coronavirus pandemic with travel bans, social distancing and other regulatory measures imposed by the Federal and ACT governments.

Safe spaces

ANU has made available an option for safe space arrangements to support anyone who is working or studying in an unsafe environment.

ANU support services including counselling and the Respectful Relationships Unit are still accessible remotely for our staff and students.

Vice-Chancellor's staff forum

The Vice-Chancellor will be hosting his first virtual staff forum this Friday 24 April to meet with staff to discuss our community and to better understand our new campus environment.

This is an opportunity to ask questions about the University, meet other colleagues and provide feeback on anything that may be impacting you.
