🚀 Tech News

A new Coffee Course is available discussing Multi-Mode Teaching. The course explores delivering effective multi-mode or hybrid courses that retain the best of both worlds for online and on-campus learning. This course will run from Wednesday 29 July to Friday 31 July 2020 and is targeted at ANU academics.

If you are returning to campus, there is a compulsory form on HORUS you need to read and fill out.

Our old Virtual Private Network (VPN), Cisco AnyConnect, has been decommissioned. All staff and students should transition to Global Protect.

Zoom recently patched a vulnerability with its client that could impact those running Windows 7 or older machines. This vulnerability is already mitigated by ANU AARNET version of Zoom however it is essential that you run the update if you are on Windows 7.

Introducing Canberra’s very own Satellite Selfie. Get your college, business or family and friends to go outside and create large designs, flags or logos on the ground that are big enough to be seen from space. Between Aug 17-21 a satellite will be flying over Canberra to capture a bird’s eye view of your creations.
