The rundown - what you need to know

ANU Parking is aware of fraudulent parking permits being distributed on campus. A reminder that the University does not issue physical parking permits and only permits created using the vPermit system are valid on campus. More information about legitimate parking options and permits.
The next round of learning space technology (AV) upgrade staff and students consultation sessions will run over the first two weeks of November, beginning on Tuesday 1 November 2022. You can register for the consultation sessions here. In these sessions, we want to hear from staff and students, regarding how they would like to use these spaces for a great teaching and learning experience.
ANU is currently transitioning to passwordless authentication on our online systems, using the Cipherise app. A new video is available which provides step-by-step instructions on how to enrol in Cipherise. There are now over 6500 ANU staff and students enrolled - head over to the Cyber Sense website to find out how to join them.

New study to look at impact of bushfires and COVID on families

A new study from ANU experts will shed light on the full impact of the 2019/20 bushfires and outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic on young families.

The study follows the findings from the 2020 Mother and Child survey (MC2020) but will focus on the partners of women who were pregnant or gave birth between November 2019 and December 2020.

The survey will ask the partners about their own health and wellbeing, their relationship and their experiences of parenting, providing a snapshot of family dynamics.

This special screening of the artist Lu Yang's film, 'DOKU: The Self' is part of the ongoing 'Lu Yang's Screen Bodies' exhibition at the Australian Centre on China in the World. The film will be followed by a Q&A discussion with Gabriel Remy-Handfield and Jori Snels.
