The rundown - what you need to know
|
- In light of the recent reported Optus data breach, it is a timely reminder for everyone to be vigilant and cyber safe. ANU Cyber Sense training related to Protecting Your Identity is available on Pulse. If you are an Optus customer, the Australian Cyber Security Centre has provided advice on what to do.
- Work to repair Chifley Library roof commenced last week. The Chifley Library remains open and staff are available to assist you. A schedule of works and what can be expected during this process is available on the Library website.
- Thinking of pursuing a postgraduate research degree? Applications to study a higher degree research program closes on Monday 31 October 2022.
- Reminder that ANUSA elections are open until 12pm Thursday 29 September. All undergraduate students are eligible to vote. Voting takes just a few minutes and help you have your say in who represents you.
- Temporary changes to parking and traffic flow on campus ahead of Midnight Oil's concert this weekend. There will also be noise disturbances on Friday 30 September during the sound check.
Fellows Oval Carpark 89S - closed from Saturday 17 September to Friday 7 October inclusive.
Fellows Lane Carpark (along Fellows Lane) - closed from Sunday 18 September to Friday 7 October inclusive.
Law Carpark 6N – will be limited to accessible parking only on Saturday 1 October from 8am–11pm.
CIW Gravel Carpark 6-NW – will be closed Saturday 1 October 6am– 11pm.
Centre for Arab and Islamic Studies Carpark 127S – will be closed Saturday 1 October 6am–11pm. Expect delays on Fellows Road from Monday 19 September to Friday 7 October 6am – 6pm. CBE research blasts off
|
Artemis I has captured headlines around the globe, as the world anticipates its launch. An unmanned trial rocket, Artemis I is part of NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS), tasked with the ambitious goal of bringing astronauts back to the Moon by 2025.
ANU College of Business and Economics Professor Ofer Zwikael’s (pictured) research helped manage the scheduling of NASA’s Artemis I project using the Earned Schedule methodology.

Professor Evelyn Goh elected as a Fellow of the British Academy
|
Professor Evelyn Goh’s (pictured) name will sit alongside distinguished scholars such as Beatrice Webb, John Maynard Keynes and Sir Winston Churchill as Fellows of the British Academy.
The Academy is a prestigious body for international scholars in the humanities and social sciences and will benefit from Professor Goh's deep expertise on East Asia.

Student First is mapping student experience
|
Student First Program was established to deliver the best-in-class student experience by 2025 through a student and staff -centred approach.
The preliminary study involved domestic undergraduate student experience, the results of which are captured in this Current State Blueprint document.
The program will now study other cohorts and encourage staff and students to participate in the program. |
