Getting to COVID-normal
Travel and borders
The ACT has updated their travel arrangements with NSW and VIC. Check whether this impacts you and your work at ANU.
Libraries re-open
Chifley, Hancock and the Law Library have all re-opened their doors today with 24 hour access. A new click and collect service is also available, providing staff with easier access to the full collection.
Our pathway to 2022
Keep checking this page where we'll continue to post updates about how the remainder of 2021 will look.
Rare Chinese collection digitised and available to the world
In 1950, ANU acquired the collection of works of eminent scholar and educator Xu Dishan 许地山. With titles published as early as 1411, the collection is fragile and has not been easy to access, until now.

Thanks to the hard work of the ANU Digitisation Team, the information in these texts is now available to everyone and the fragile materials preserved to prevent further degradation.

Get the low-down on oral exams
Friday 5 November, 10.30am-12pm
Oral exams are often overlooked as an assessment option but can be a great way to draw out the best in students and find out what they really know. And the bonus? You can have all your marking done in one day!

Head along to this workshop to learn more about how to set high quality oral exams that maintain integrity, reliability and validity.

Year 12 students with 2022 offers from ANU can rest assured that their offer remains

There has been uncertainty for year 12 students completing their studies this year during a pandemic, but we are committed to honouring all the offers we've given to students already. These students have a place at ANU, they just need to continue to focus on their studies and get through the year.

The majority of applicants have already received offers from ANU as part of our direct entry process. As long as these students complete year 12 study and receive an ATAR we will be honouring their offers. Any student who has not yet applied to ANU directly is still able to apply to us through UAC.

If you have a family member or friend who is finishing year 12, tell them to hang in there. We look forward to seeing many of them at ANU next year.
