The rundown - what you need to know

  • Semester 2 census date is tomorrow, Wednesday 31 August. Check your student email for information about census date, and visit the census dates page for more information.
  • We are aware of a sophisticated financial scam targeting international students. If you think you have been targeted in a scam, ANU is here to support you and you are not alone. Visit our scams awareness page for advice on protecting yourself and your friends from scams, and what to do if you think you have been targeted.
  • We are in the first week of mid-semester exams. The second week of exams starts when teaching resumes on Monday 19 September. For more information about your exams, check out the Wattle pages for your courses or contact your Academic College or course convenor.
  • A reminder that our 2022 ANU Open Day is this Saturday 3 September. Please note that some areas of Kambri may be inaccessible during this time.

Postgraduate (PG) services on campus

A reminder PARSA is still operating as normal while we work to develop the new PG services model for 2023. We have established a Postgraduate Services Support and Representation taskforce, including representatives from PARSA and ANUSA, working altogether to ensure PG services continuity and scoping out what the new model will look like.

The taskforce has met three times since July and has engaged PwC to benchmark the best models across Australian universities to inform the new model. There will be an opportunity for the community's input later this year when we open for consultation. Keep an eye out for updates.

ANU Medical Centre procurement

To continue providing high quality health services and enable an expansion of  services available to meet the needs of our diverse community, ANU has commenced a two-stage procurement process for a provider of primary health services at the existing ANU Medical Centre in Kambri. Rest assured, the Centre will operate as usual during this process, with health care services still available for our community. We will continue to update you throughout the process. You can read our FAQs for more information.
