Natasha Linard Endowment
Dr Natasha Linard was an outstanding role model for female engineers and engineers in general. Her contributions to the profession and, in particular, to the ANU Engineering Program were prominent and numerous. Sadly, in September 2014, Natasha passed away at the age of 42. To ensure that her legacy continues, the Natasha Linard Endowment has been created to support the Natasha Linard Scholarship for Women in Engineering and Technology.
The scholarship supports female students in their final year of undergraduate studies at the ANU College of Engineering, Computing and Cybernetics to build technology, business and community leadership skills, and develop a mentoring relationship with prominent professionals in the private and public sectors. Recipients will receive $5,000 as well as the cost of tuition fees associated with undertaking the She Leads Diploma of Management and Leadership, offered by the YWCA.
Gifts to the Natasha Linard Endowment will continue to grow the fund towards the ultimate goal of the annual award of the Natasha Linard Scholarship in perpetuity.
