Our researchers are tackling complex diseases such as cancer, infection and immunity, diabetes, obesity, vision loss, neurological diseases and other conditions. We combine expertise in basic discovery, clinical medicine and practice through our hospital and health provider partnerships, and translation into policy to improve the health outcomes for all people.

Our highly regarded work in this area is breaking down barriers to health care such as access, costs and insufficient resources in Australia and globally. Our expertise spans epidemiology, economics, regulation, informatics and health care with a clear public policy translation emphasis.

ANU is striving to improve health outcomes through discovery, education and translation into effective health policy and practice.
