The great ANU divestment debate
During the past couple of years, the debate about whether ANU should invest in companies related to the fossil fuels industry has intensified. A year ago, the University launched its socially responsible investment policy, which seeks to provide guidance on what assets should be held in investment portfolios.
In the latest edition, ANU Reporter asks four of the major participants in the debate — including ANU Vice-Chancellor IAN YOUNG AO — one question: Should ANU divest its portfolio of investments in fossil fuel related companies?
