2024 December Testamur & Photo Opportunity

Students who complete their program at the end of Semester 2, 2024 and inform ANU that they wish to confer their award(s) without attending the February 2025 graduation ceremony, will have the opportunity on Thursday 12 December and Friday 13 December 2024 to collect a hardcopy of their testamur and have photos taken in academic regalia at Melville Hall.

PLEASE NOTE: there will be no in person graduation ceremony held in December anymore. All students conferring in December will be invited to attend an in-person celebration in February 2025.

December Testamur and Photo opportunity registration steps:

Step 1 - Respond to your invitation by 22 November 2024

You may ONLY select one option via ISIS:

  • Select ‘In Absentia’ only if you wish to take part in the December Testamur collection and photograph opportunity and do not intend to come to the February 2025 celebration.
  • Select ‘Will Attend’ if you intend to come to the February 2025 celebration event.
    • If you require your hardcopy testamur in December 2024, but intend to attend the celebration event in February 2025, please select ‘Will Attend’. Please be aware that you will not be able to take part in the photography opportunity in December 2024.
  • Select ‘Defer’ if you do not want to have your award conferred in December 2024. This means that you will not be a graduate of ANU until you confirm that you do want to graduate.

If you do not respond to your invitation, no further action will be taken.

  • ANU awards are not conferred automatically - we require your consent. Your response must be submitted via ISIS no later than 22 November 2024.

Step 2 - Register for December 2024

For those students who select ‘In Absentia’ via ISIS and wish to collect their Testamur or attend a complimentary photo session, the ANU Graduations Office will send a link for the web portal registration to your ANU email by late November.

If you do not wish to attend or participate in the December Photo/Testamur collection event, there's no need to respond to the link provided. Your Testamur will be mailed to your address within eight weeks of your conferral.
