Plant, Grow, Harvest
Welcome to the Kitchen Garden community gardening sessions: Plant, Grow, Harvest
This is a free, drop-in program for ANU students, every Tuesday afternoon in April between 3-4pm at the Kitchen Garden Plot near Fenner Hall and CBE.
Social and relaxed community gardening on campus. No experience is needed - come along and learn. We grow food to share using regenerative principles and promoting biodiversity. Participants can harvest and share in garden produce. The Kitchen Garden is a great place to connect with people and with nature. You can share your own experiences and knowledge or learn from others or simply relax and have fun!
Come along and help with weeding, planting, seed sowing, watering, and looking after the plants and take home some fresh herbs or veggies. We will also have some snacks from the garden- fresh fruit, veggies or some yummy dip!
Gardening bees are relaxed, fun and social and a great way to get fresh air, exercise and to spend time in nature.
You don't need any gardening knowledge or experience: we'll teach you what you need to know!
What to wear/bring: hat, closed shoes, water bottle.
